Nicholas Maxwell, MD, trained at McGill University in Montreal and completed his surgical residency at Wayne State University and the Detroit Medical Center.
For thirty-six years, he practiced general, vascular, and minimally invasive surgery in Wisconsin. His writing looks honestly at the lessons, people, and unforgettable moments behind a lifetime in the operating room.
